I see that you have enabled moderation. If you haven't already, I would enable capsha also. I have it and never get spam. Once I thought it was a pain for readers and took it off. SPAM!! put it back on, no spam.
You may know this, or not. When you moderate, if you have an email sent to you with the comment, you can reply to the sender personally if you want then click on publish to publish just the comment to your blog.
Anyway, I love this piece, especially the bird. Carol
