Hello AllOver on CQN they are doing a color study RR. I wasn't really interested in joining. However due to happenstance and indecision regarding some DYB s( do your block) I ended up with 9 blocks in varying colorways.
I think the green one turned out great, however the blue one doesn't thrill me. Especially the top right corner.
I guess I will live with it until I figure out what I want instead

I think both blocks are delicious -- but then again, I am also partial to blue-with-a-touch-of-purple! I have done colour studies with paints and with thread, but never as a block. Thanks for the inspiration!
What right corner? I can't take my eyes off the beaded butterfly (LOL)
These are just marvelous...I love your blue butterfly!
I really love the green block, but the blue is nice, too. The dragon work is terrific!
